Premium fish and seafood preserves

Inside every Pay Pay can is the very best of Galicia—our land, our Atlantic waters and a centuries-old tradition of Spanish canned seafood. We become from the sea.

Pay Pay is a brand with a strong international vision, created to bring premium tinned seafood from Spain to the global market that showcase our essence and the authentic flavors of Galicia.

Meanwhile the Ramona brand blends tradition and modernity trough a renewed presentation that preserves the essence of classic canned seafood.

Beyond its main line, Conservas Cerqueira offers a range of products under other brands, including Buenos Días, all made with the same passion for quality and excellence.

At Conservas Cerqueira, we carefully select the finest from the sea and preserve it with precision so its quality endures. When the ocean delivers exceptional raw ingredients, we bring them straight to your table. Pay Pay’s Gold Line is a true marine treasure — rare, valuable, and crafted to be preserved.

Conservas Cerqueira

History

Conservas Cerqueira began its journey in 1890, founded by João Baptista Cerqueira. In the 1940s, the company expanded its production capabilities with the acquisition of the Ribeira plant, and in 2023, we opened a new facility in Rianxo to support the continued industrial growth of Conservas Cerqueira and secure its future.

We are experts in developing and supplying private-label products for our customers. Decades of experience and a strong track record in the industry stand behind the quality and sustainability of everything we produce. Our hallmark is a combination of deep know-how, carefully selected raw materials, and the preservation of our most traditional recipes.

Production capacity

Vigo plant: With a total area of 10,000 m² and a processing capacity of up to 300,000 tins per day. This plant maintains the original location of Conservas Cerqueira.

The Rianxo plant operates on an 18,000 m² site and has a processing capacity of up to 400,000 cans per day. Inaugurated in 2023, it incorporates the most advanced technological and sustainable solutions in the industry, from both an industrial and environmental standpoint. The facility is a clear example of how tradition and innovation come together in the modern food industry.

Quality

At Conservas Cerqueira, achieving exceptional quality is the result of excellence and professionalism at every stage of the production process. Our teams of biologists, chemists, and engineers work continuously to innovate, refine methods, and optimize production, ensuring consistently high standards across all our tinned seafood products.
